At Miller Home Renovations, “community” isn’t just a marketing buzzword, it’s the fabric that embodies who we are as a company. Whether it’s connecting with local homeowners at events, supporting families through bathroom remodel projects, or giving back through the American Cancer Society fundraiser each year, we believe even small businesses should show up for their local community. Baseball is one of the ways we do that here at Miller Home Renovations.
For the second year in a row, Miller Home Renovations sponsored Glenwood Little League in Vancouver, Washington, supporting them through the regular season and Fall Ball. We love this partnership; not just because baseball is part of our local culture, but because it’s an authentic connection to the people behind our brand.
This Isn’t Just a Sponsorship, It’s Personal!
Our own Marketing Director, Michael Sharp, has been part of Little League for decades. He’s coached for over 25 years and he’s been umpiring since 1987. And for the last four years, he’s been an umpire right here at Glenwood Little League.
Ken Miller, our owner, also has roots in Little League. He’s coached both of his son’s Little League teams and has spent years of their childhood around local ball fields. In fact, Michael’s son pitched against Ken’s son back in 2013, long before the two of them knew each other, let alone worked together. Small world, right?
Ken truly loves the game. In fact, he’ll always cheer for the Dodgers, but the Mariners hold a special place in his heart too.
When Glenwood Little League asked for sponsors, this wasn’t just another marketing angle for Miller Home Renovations. This opportunity is perfectly aligned with our values, our interests, and the people who embody our team. In fact, Michael has sacrificed weekends, late evenings, and even his currently injured thumb, for Glenwood Little League.
Why It Matters
To us, being a sponsor isn’t about slapping our logo on a fence or billboard. It’s about helping build something that strengthens kids, families, and friendships. Fall Ball has officially come to an end, and we couldn’t be more proud to have been part of it again this year.
Giving Back Is Part of Our DNA
Our sponsorship of Glenwood Little League is just one part of the community outreach we do each year. From supporting local youth sports to raising $12,250 for breast cancer through the ACS Making Strides of Oregon and Southwest Washington, Miller Home Renovations truly values community outreach and connection. We simply love our community and we will continually invest back into it.
